Unlike similar organisations, IPPAG sharing does not limit itself to purchasing. The communication channels between partners are fully open and all partners are very keen to gain expertise and competences in all key business areas. Having similar profiles, IPPAG partners share common clients and sales targets. Therefore, the focus on gaining better sales efficiency as a group rather than an individual is high. IPPAG partners provide their services to numerous international brands on a global basis, and regional or joint partnerships on key accounts are common. Exchanges can involve product ideas, novelties, exclusive items, case stories and innovative marketing schemes. From 2009 onwards, a new ‘Sales Academy’ meeting will be held each year, so each partner's best sales representatives can also fully benefit from meeting and exchanging with their International colleagues. Each partner's marketing and graphics staff interact with each other to share the best of their creative ideas. Every summer, IPPAG assembles its marketing managers for 48 hours of shared brainstorming.
